Who We Are
Afghan Evangelical Fellowship of Canada is a Christ-centered faith community formed in September 2024 in British Columbia. We serve Afghan immigrants, refugees, and newcomers, providing a place for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and spiritual growth.
Our vision is to build a local, Bible-based, and loving Afghan church, where people can grow deep in their relationship with Jesus, be discipled, and be equipped to serve others.
Pastor Qadir A is originally from Afghanistan and came to faith in Jesus in 2012. After years of ministry in Afghanistan and Tajikistan, he felt called by God to come to British Columbia and plant this church. He completed theological training through Mojdeh Theological Center and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and has years of experience in discipleship, worship, and church planting. In addition to in-person ministry, he also serves Afghan believers through online discipleship and teaching. In September 2024, he officially launched the Afghan Evangelical Fellowship of Canada in British Columbia.
His wife, Najila, has also been faithfully serving alongside him, especially in the women’s ministry, both in the past and now within this new church community.
